Walnut Grove was a Scott County cross-roads settlement and stage coach stop of the 1860s. The Village includes 22 historic buildings, some relocated from rural Scott County. Pioneer Village has accessible and modern restroom facilities. Great for school groups, weddings and family picnics.

Join the Friends of the Wapsi Center and Staff for a celebration of Earth Day. Our workday will focus on habitat clean-up and sprucing up the facilities for upcoming events. There will be fun for all ages and abilities, bring the whole family and a friend! Please bring appropriate clothing, work gloves and a water bottle. Afterwards, enjoy a light lunch provided by the Friends of the Wapsi Center.

Come join Wapsi River Center staff and Iowa 4-H AmeriCorps Environmental Educator, and learn to become more sustainable by creating your own health and home products made with natural ingredients. Scott County Conservation parks continue to look at ways to help protect the health of visitors and staff during the COVID-19 health emergency. Our parks are still open. However, in accordance to CDC guidelines and in response to the Iowa state parks decision to reduce certain park amenities as part of the COVID-19 response, we are announcing the following operational changes, effectively immediately:
Come join in the fun, this event features an 8" cup! Four person teams are flighted by number of teams signed up for the event. Men will play from the blue tees and women play from green tees. Cost (subject to change) is $55.00 per person and includes green fee, cart fee, and prizes. This is the last four person best shots of the season so hurry and sign up so you don't miss out on the fun!
Teams consist of four players, 2 men and 2 women PLUS an 8" cup! Play is a scramble, all players tee shots must be used at least twice in the 18 holes. The tournament is flighted by the number of teams signed up for the event. Men play from white tees, women play from red tees.
