Kestrel Cabin Features:

  • 728 sq. feet of living space (28'x26' cabin)
  • ADA accessible
  • Modern bathroom with shower
  • One bedroom with queen size mattress and twin size bunk beds with storage, fold-out queen-size sofa bed in main room - sleeps 6.
  • Full Kitchen - stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, sink, dishwasher, table & 6 chairs with place settings, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
  • Gas heat & air conditioning, ceiling fans, bathroom exhaust fan, on-demand water heater
  • Covered porch, picnic table and fire ring
  • Only 2 vehicles permitted to park at cabin, others must use the park's visitor lot
  • Wireless Internet Access available
  • Firewood is supplied
  • Recycling bins provided

Supplies Provided:

  • Toilet tissue, dishwasher soap, & cleaning supplies
  • Broom, dustpan & mop
  • Waste baskets and garbage bags

Renter Will Need to Bring:

  • Complete bedding with pillows, sheets, blankets and/or sleeping bags
  • Dish cloth and towels
  • All food & beverage supplies
  • All bath linens and toiletries
  • Specialty cooking utensils
  • TV, radio, alarm clock (optional)
  • Lawn chairs (recommended)

Reservation Information:

  • $70.00 per night - cash or check (credit cards only accepted with prearrangements Visa, Mastercard, Discover)
  • First night fee payable at time of booking, balance due at check-in
  • $50.00 Refundable Damage/Cleanup Deposit due at check-in (only cash or check accepted)
  • Maximum stay of 14 days in a 30 day period
  • Reservations may be made up to ONE YEAR in advance
  • Renter must be 21 years of age or older

Cabin Policy:

  • Maximum capacity is six people
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin
  • Cookware is intended for inside use only
  • Pets are not allowed inside cabin and must be leashed while outside
  • Keg beer is prohibited
  • Cabin furniture must remain inside cabin
  • Large parties are not permitted
  • Check-in time is 3:00 on the first day of the cabin reservation (unless previous arrangements have been made)
  • Be ready to check-out by 1:00pm on your last day in cabin. Be sure to lock cabin door and windows.
  • Park closing hours must be observed
  • All Rules & Regulations of the Scott County Conservation Board are in effect
  • No tents or campers allowed in cabin area
  • FAILURE to abide by the Cabin Policy or Cleanup Guidelines will result in forfeiture of all or part of your deposit
  • Violation of park rules and regulations may result in fines, use privileges being rescinded and forfeiture of reservation or deposit fees
  • Scott County Conservation Board reserves the right of management to enter the cabins in an emergency, to inspect, and/or replenish supplies
