Things to do: Visit Santa and take your own photos, kids can make Christmas crafts, write letter to Santa or make reindeer food, listen to Old Time Christmas music in the church, buy chili, cookies, hot drinks and unique gifts, watch blacksmithing and enjoy Christmas decorations throughout the Village.
Well-mannered pets are welcome on the grounds AND they can visit Santa too! However, pets are not allowed in the soda fountain or saloon.

Join Naturalist, Becky Baugh, for our first installment of our Crafting for Conservation series. During this series, we will be making arts and crafts out of either natural or recyclable items. During this session, we will be making gift bags out of old calendars and gift bows out of old magazines just in time for the holiday season! Partners of Scott County Watersheds will be hosting an in-depth Snapshot training on Thursday, December 12 from 5:00-7:00PM at the Davenport Public Works building (1200 E 46th St., Davenport, IA).
The Snapshot Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring events have been taking place since 2003. Three times a year, groups of volunteers will test around 50 sites in Scott County for nitrogen, phosphorus, chloride, pH, temperature, and turbidity, among other parameters.
