Learn how to use a bow and arrow in this fun and informative hands-on class!  Children must be in the 4th grade or above to participate and accompanied by an adult. Adults are welcome to participate as well!  This is a weather permitting event.

Man and woman are a 2 person team and play 9 holes in an alternate shot format and scored using a modified stable ford scoring system. The event is flighted by the number of teams signed up each night. Men play from the white tees and women play from the red tees. Cost (subject to change) is $55.00 per couple and includes green fee, cart fee, prizes and a cookout after play. This is intended to be a fun night and beginners are encouraged to participate.

11:00am - 5:00pm Daily Memorial Day Weekend

Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of yesteryear!  The past will com to life at the Village as interpreters and actors recreate pioneer life.  There will be pioneer craft demonstrations, folk music and performances by the Wapsi Wranglers and Kickapoo Indian Dancer.  Admission is $2 for Adult and $1 for Children.  Hope to see you there!

Join Wapsi Center staff for an adventure with canoes and kayaks. Whether you are a beginner or regular paddler, come out to learn basics. Program includes all equipment use, covers safety, techniques, and taking a tour of Lake of the Hills. You may bring your own vessel/PFD, though it must comply with IADNR regulations. Reminder - this program is determined by weather and site conditions, weight capacity loads are 250-300 lbs./solo and 425-475 lbs./ tandem. Dress appropriately and bring water.
