County & City Assessors

The Scott County Assessor's Office serves all of Scott County except for the City of Davenport. Both County and City Assessors are located on the fifth floor of the Scott County Administrative Center.


Protesting an Assessment:

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Scott County Assessor’s Office is closed to the public, but will continue to operate on a limited basis. All business will be conducted by phone and email only until further notice.

Please call or email with questions. If no answer, leave a message and someone will return your call or email in order received. Please be patient as there will likely be delays. The Board of Review protest filing date has been extended. Scott County property owners that feel their January 1, 2020 assessment is incorrect now have until Friday June 5th, 2020 to protest their property assessment.

The Scott County Assessor’s Office is pleased to announce that Scott County property owners can sign up for the most common property tax credits online using the Assessor’s website.

We also serve the public at the Assessor’s Office M-F from 8:00 to 4:30, but save yourself the trip and sign up online anytime.
