If you are an organization, corporation, agency or civil group that might be considering a fireworks display in rural or unincorporated Scott County, a Public Fireworks Display Permit is required.

Dispatch Consolidation Study
There are currently three primary and one secondary Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) in Scott County, Iowa performing similar functions. In 2005, a “Blue Ribbon Committee” was formed and consultant was selected to conduct a study of the feasibility of consolidating two or more of the dispatch centers in the County. [more]
