To establish a highly seasoned and trained response team within the office that is equipped, trained and staffed to respond to high risk incidents, unusual occurrences and special events, in a safe and effective manner.

General Policy:

It will be the policy of the Scott County Sheriff's Office to select highly motivated deputies in excellent condition who are interested and willing to train and serve as negotiators, snipers and tactical officers in the Emergency Services Team.
