News Release: Shots Fired
 
On 1-9-18 at approximately 941pm Scott Emergency Communications Center (SECC) dispatched The Scott County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division to 5700 block of Valley Drive, Panorama Park to take a report of possibly 2 stolen vehicles from the area. The complainant was waiting in their car in front of this residence waiting for Deputies to arrive. Prior to the Deputies arrivial the complainant’s reported that, the home owner (Cari J. Fuhs) exited the residence and came after them firing a hand gun several times at them.
 
The complainants fled the area and were stopped at the intersection of Park Ave and Valley Dr. At this time Fuhs had pulled up behind them in a different vehicle and started to fire a hand gun at their vehicle while the complainants were inside. There was 1 projectile located in the vehicle. There were several spent shell casings at the intersection of Park Ave and Valley Dr. as well as more spent casings located in the drive way area just outside of the residence in the 5700 block of Valley Drive.
 
A search warrant was executed at the defendant’s residence and there were hand guns matching the same caliber of the spent shell casings where the defendant was located.
 
The defendant also does not have a valid weapons permit issued by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division, Sheriff’s Reserve Deputies, Bettendorf Police Department and LeClaire Police Department also responded.
 
Fuhs was later arrested and taken into custody,she is being charged with; Intimidation with a weapon (class C felony), Going armed with intent (class D felony) and Carrying Weapons ( aggravated misdemeanor)
