Process Oriented Program

The Jail Programs Coordinators lead process oriented groups in the Jail. Many of the inmates in the Jail have had poor or unsuccessful experiences in the traditional education setting. Cognitive behavior, developmental, humanistic and existential approaches are used to identify and address a host of here-and-now issues that are commonly problematic for inmates, i.e. understanding consequences of behavior, acceptance and taking responsibility, relationship building, making connections, parenting, understanding depression and anxiety, developmental issues/milestones and relaxation techniques. For more information on any of these programs, please contact a Programs Coordinator at 563-326-8750 ext. 8 option 1 or 2.
