Library Donation and Recycling Program

Library Donation and Recycling Program

The purpose of the program is two fold.

  1. Enhance the Jail Library and inmate experience by utilizing donated magazines, paper back books, educational/vocational CD Roms and resources.
  2. Promote Scott County's commitment to Going Green by reusing used books, magazines and educational references.

Donations of magazines, soft cover books, educational or vocational reference books/CD Roms to the Jail Library Program can be made by placing these items in receptacles in the Scott County Administrative Center (1st Floor across from elevator) or at the Courthouse/Jail building in the Jail visitation area.

Inmates will benefit from educational/vocational training materials (Books or CD Roms) as we will tailor inmate programs around these donated resources.
