The Scott County Jail is one of the first General Education Testing Sites in Iowa and directed by Scott Community College.

Educational programming assists individuals in accessing the tools needed for educational growth by providing GED testing, GED pre-testing, assistance in obtaining educational records, and offers referrals for tutoring or basic education upon release. By providing these services, we can afford the participant's the opportunities necessary to obtain employment and further education.
