Our speaker for this month’s forum will be Bob Bryant. He was director of the Clinton County Conservation Board for 15 years, and director of Scott County Conservation Board’s Wapsi River Environmental Education Center for 16 years. Now retired, he continues to be involved with local conservation projects and activities, especially natural area inventories and restoration projects. His presentation, “The Lost, Almost Lost and the Newly Discovered” is a historical look at the interaction of man and nature and its impact on the flora and fauna of the Quad City Region, from the 1830’s to the present. The presentation will be a two part series, presented at the June and August forums.
Partners of Scott County Watersheds March forum will be held Tuesday, June 20 at 12pm at the Eastern Avenue Library, 6000 Eastern Ave, Davenport, IA 52807.
Lunch is available but we ask for a $5 donation if you choose to eat. Please RSVP via email if you wish to attend so lunch supplies can be properly estimated.
