The April 2019 forum speaker will be Omar de Kok-Mercado.
Omar’s background and expertise is in soil microbiology and agronomy. He has previously worked for the NRCS and Forest Service and is now the Project Coordinator for the STRIPS (Science-Based Trials of Rowcrops Integrated with Prairie Strips) project at Iowa State University. He farms outside of Ames with his partner Meghan.
