The speaker for the February 27th Forum is Laura Morris.
Laura has been the Natural Resources and Education Program Manager for River Action since May of 2016. She is an alumna of Augustana College, where she studied environmental science and geography, and completed research on environmental education in elementary schools. She will be presenting on current River Action projects in Scott County, and the holistic approach the organization takes to address the riverfronts and watersheds in which we live, work, and play.
Partners of Scott County Watersheds forum will be held Tuesday, February 27 at 12pm at the Eastern Avenue Library, 6000 Eastern Ave, Davenport, IA 52807.
Lunch is available but we ask for a $5 donation if you choose to eat. An RSVP via email is required for lunch. An RSVP for the meeting is optional, but appreciated.
