Conservation Board

The Scott County Conservation Board, authorized by the people of Scott County at a general election in 1956, was one of the first county conservation boards to be organized in Iowa.

Board members are charged with the responsibility of conserving the natural resources of the county, preserving scenic and historic sites, developing recreational facilities to provide opportunities for the residents of the county, their guests and tourists to enjoy themselves.

The following serve on the board by appointment of the Scott County Board of Supervisors:
