Electronic Monitoring Program

The electronic monitoring kit.

At the direction of the 7th Judicial District Court of Iowa, the Jail provides electronic monitoring as an alternative to incarceration. This program allows offenders to maintain employment and diverts them from Jail time to in-home detention. The Alternative Coordinator monitors the offender's location at all times. The goal is to keep low risk offenders gainfully employed while keeping the family unit intact.
