Leadership Training - HR Roundtable on Travel Time

After a hiatus, HR Roundtable for all things HR is back for a few sessions! Come join us on March 27 from 9AM – 10AM in the Boardroom to review our Travel Time practices.

  • When is time traveling compensable for non-exempt employees?
  • Does it matter if the employee is a passenger or a driver?
  • What exactly does “all in a day’s work” mean?
  • What about if the travel involves an overnight stay?

The regulations on travel time are among some of the most confusing the Department of Labor has so as a supervisor and/or payroll contact, it is always good to get a refresher from time to time. We’ll review and discuss the DOL regulations and go through various examples of how/when non-exempt employees are paid for travel time.  To attend, please click on the SignUpGenius link below. If you have specific questions regarding travel time, please feel free to submit them to me beforehand and we can reference them in our discussion.
