Come out to the Wapsi to dispel the myths and legends of bats! We will have several opportunities and events throughout the evening on June 29th. Registration is Required.

Activities:

5 - 5:45p - Learn about native bats, including basic biology and habitat

5:45 - 6:30p - Campfire-style dinner* with hotdogs and s'mores provided by Friends of the Wapsi.  Please bring your own drinks.

6:30 - 7:30 - Build a Bat House or explore the Eagle View Eco Center. $10 / house. Limited number of kits available MUST pre-register. (Eco Center tour is Free)

8:00p or Dusk - Take a hike* around our campus as the bats are emerging to forage!  Those feeling adventurous are welcome to stay into twilight for more exploration! (Flashlight & bug spray recommended for hike) 

*Hike and outdoor meal are weather-dependent
