Glynns Creek Golf Course is Quad Cities golf at its finest, and it can be enjoyed by all - beginners as well as avid golfers.

This championship 18 hole, par-72 course's layout resembles that of the great courses of Scotland, featuring tree-lined watered fairways, rolling hills and grass bunkers. Every hole offers a unique challenge. Located just 15 miles north of Davenport, Iowa within Scott County Park.

You'll also enjoy beautiful countryside and the occasional sight of deer, wild turkey and other wildlife. Glynns Creek offers a fully stocked golf shop, concession area, and large driving range with PGA professionals available for assistance.

Come join in the fun, this event features an 8" cup! Four person teams are flighted by number of teams signed up for the event.  Men will play from the blue tees and women play from green tees. Cost (subject to change) is $55.00 per person and includes green fee, cart fee, and prizes.  This is the last four person best shots of the season so hurry and sign up so you don't miss out on the fun!

Man and woman are a 2 person team and play 9 holes with an 8" cup in an alternate shot format and scored using a modified stable ford scoring system. The event is flighted by the number of teams signed up each night. Men play from the white tees and women play from the red tees. Cost (subject to change) is $55.00 per couple and includes green fee, cart fee, prizes and a cookout after play. This is intended to be a fun night and beginners are encouraged to participate.  This is the last couples outing and your last chance to play an 8" cup, be sure to get signed up!

Enjoy 100 years of rural American music at Scott County Conservation’s 4th annual “Pioneer Village Harvest Moon Song & Dance Fest” . Gates open at noon. Admission is $6.00 adults, $3.00 children, under 5 free.

The festival features five area groups performing a timeline of traditional, bluegrass, fiddle, and banjo, folk and early country music from 1900’s to 1960’s such as “Down by the Riverside,” “Goodnight Irene,” and ”King of the Road.”

Hunter education is a mandatory program that is designed to introduce students to several life-long skills that are important to many different types of outdoor recreational opportunities. The course teaches students basic survival and first aid skills, water safety, wildlife identification, and the basics of wildlife management, hunting laws, and firearm/archery safety. Hunter education also stresses the importance of individual responsibility and outdoor ethics.

Iowa law requires that anyone born after January 1, 1972 must be certified in hunter education before they are eligible to purchase an Iowa hunting
