Glynns Creek Golf Course is Quad Cities golf at its finest, and it can be enjoyed by all - beginners as well as avid golfers.

This championship 18 hole, par-72 course's layout resembles that of the great courses of Scotland, featuring tree-lined watered fairways, rolling hills and grass bunkers. Every hole offers a unique challenge. Located just 15 miles north of Davenport, Iowa within Scott County Park.

You'll also enjoy beautiful countryside and the occasional sight of deer, wild turkey and other wildlife. Glynns Creek offers a fully stocked golf shop, concession area, and large driving range with PGA professionals available for assistance.

Come learn about the many wild edibles in your own neck of the woods. We will focus on identifying plants, foraging basics, and preparing wild edibles. We will take a hike outdoors to identify and harvest some winter wild edibles available during this time. At the end of the program, you will get to sample some wild flavors! Overview

Hunter education is a mandatory program that is designed to introduce students to several life-long skills that are important to many different types of outdoor recreational opportunities. The course teaches students basic survival and first aid skills, water safety, wildlife identification, and the basics of wildlife management, hunting laws, and firearm/archery safety. Hunter education also stresses the importance of individual responsibility and outdoor ethics.

Iowa law requires that anyone born after January 1, 1972 must be certified in hunter education before they are eligible to purchase an Iowa hunting
