Dessert RaffleDessert Raffle

The Dessert Raffle for United Way will be September 10, 2004. Time will be 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in room 638 of the Administrative Center. Tickets are $1.00. Call Mary at 8655 to donate. This event raised $537.00

Plate of foodJail cookout for United Way

Friday, August 27, 2004 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm outside the Scott County Jail. Plate includes burger or brat, baked beans, chips, dessert, and drink. The cost per plate is $4.00. Delivery cost is $5.00 per plate.

Our grand total for this year’s funds was $700.70. This was a $179.20 increase from last year. We also had to purchase pop this year since we couldn’t get donations, so our actual total earned was $796.57.

Again, thanks to every who purchased a meal as well, without those, this would not have been a success at all. Thanks again!

Thank you to everyone for their support for United Way activities.

The dept head/ elected official car wash raised $325.00 for United Way.

We raised $2134.00 from the garage sale of surplus furniture/ equipment to Benefit United Way.

Baked PotatoTrivia Night

$2130.08 was raised. You've heard of Trivia Nights but have you ever attended one? It's much more fun than playing that "board game". Believe what people are saying, Trivia Night is a fantastic way to spend an evening. And never say "I'm really bad at Trivia" because EVERYONE KNOWS SOMETHING!!

Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds - The Starlite Ballroom, Thursday, June 17th at 6:30 (doors open at 6:00). 1st and 2nd place teams will win a cash prize. All teams will receive a small "Survivor Kit" goodie bag. 8 person teams/$10.00 per person.

Please join us Thursday, June 17th for a fun night of Trivia to help raise money for United Way. This event is sponsored by the Scott County United Way Committee.

Baked PotatoCreate-A-Tater United Way Luncheon

April 1, 2004, 11:00-1:00 PM, Sixth Floor Admin Building Room #605. $5.00 Includes loaded potato, drink and dessert. Load your own potato with any of these choices: Broccoli and Cheese, Taco Meat, Cheese, Salsa, Butter, Sour Cream or Bacon.The potato lunch raised $712.00
Proceeds benefit United Way. Organized by the Scott County Health Department Employees.
