This number is a little down from last year, but we are already planning on some changes for next year. We are planning on offering a delivery of meals, so a meal here will cost $3.00, however a meal delivered will be $4.00. We will be offering delivery to all employees, the City of Davenport and the Fire Station. Hopefully this will make next year even more successful.
Id also like to be sure everyone knows that all items used for the cookout were donated. So all monies brought in were 100% eligible for United Way. Thoms Proestler donated the hamburgers, brats, cookies, beans, condiments, paper plates, sporks, and napkins. Frito Lay donated the chips, Micklewrights Catering donated the grill, and Wal-Mart donated the pop.
