Claim for Refund
If the vehicle is sold and no replacement issued:
- Return the license plates and current registration receipt
- Indicate the date of sale, purchaser's name and address, and vehicle owner(s) signature on the back of the current registration.
- The vehicle owner(s) must sign the claim for refund.
- The claim for refund is forwarded to the Department of Transportation by the Treasurer.
- A refund of less than $10.00 will not be granted.
