Scott County Jail Library Donation and Recycling Program
The purpose of the program is two fold.
- Enhance the Jail Library and inmate experience by utilizing donated magazines, paper back books, educational/vocational CD Roms and resources.
- Promote Scott County's commitment to Going Green by reusing used books, magazines and educational references.
Donations of magazines, soft cover books, educational or vocational reference books/CD Roms to the Jail Library Program can be made by placing these items in receptacles in the Scott County Administrative Center (1st Floor across from elevator) or at the Courthouse/Jail building in the Jail visitation area.
Inmates will benefit from educational/vocational training materials (Books or CD Roms) as we will tailor inmate programs around these donated resources.
