Well Permit and Enforcement Program
What types of services are offered through the Scott County Health Department Well Permit and Enforcement Program?
The Health Department:
- Regulates the construction and installation of all private wells, including water, geothermal and irrigation wells.
- Collects water samples from new and existing wells.
Is there a fee for the service/program?
- New Well Permit (private water, geothermal and irrigation wells): $230
- Well Rehabilitation Permit: $80
- Sandpoint Well Permit: $125
