Tattoo Program
Tattoo Program
Yearly
inspections of tattoo facilities are made to assure all equipment
is in compliance with Iowa and federal law, conditions are sanitary
with sterile equipment, records are properly kept and staff are
knowledgeable about proper use of equipment.
The yearly assessment and inspection fee for the tattoo establishment is $250.00.
Operators must obtain a permit for their tattoo facility from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
