Tanning & Tattoo Program
The Scott County Health Department routinely inspects licensed
Tanning and Tattooing establishments in Scott and Clinton Counties.
On average just under 100 inspections are conducted each year in
Scott County and Clinton County.
The State of Iowa Department of Public Health contracts with the
Scott County Health Department to conduct inspections on their behalf.
Standards, rules and codes governing tanning and tattooing facilities
are set by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
