Sexually Transmitted Disease Program (STD Program)

Services Offered

For Scott County residents that meet conditions for using the clinc [more information], the Scott County Health Department offers:

• Confidential testing and treatment of STDs
• Confidential follow up of sexual partners for appropriate testing and treatment
• As of May 1, 2007, a $10 donation will be requested at the time of visit to the STD/HIV clinic.

Testing and Treatment of STDs

For Scott County residents that meet conditions for using the clinc [more information], Scott County Health Department offers free, confidential testing and treatment for the following STDs:

• Gonorrhea
• Chlamydia
• Syphilis
• Nongonococcal Urethritis
• Bacterial Vaginosis
• Trichomoniasis
• Crabs

Scott County Health Department offers free, confidential testing for Scott County residents but does not provide treatment for the following STDs:

• Yeast
• Genital Herpes

For Iowa residents who meet Iowa Department of Public Health guidelines, Scott County Health Department offers free, confidential testing, but does not provide treatment for:

• Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

The Scott County Health Department does not offer testing for:

• Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
• Human Papilloma Virus (HPV, Genital Warts)
• Scabies
