Iowa Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program
The Iowa Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program or BCCEDP is an ongoing initiative to reduce deaths from breast and cervical cancer. Participants are provided annual mammograms and pap smears, and a limited number of diagnostic tests at no cost.
These exams may usually be obtained from your family physician. If you do not have a family physician or prefer a female practitioner, the program coordinator will provide a list of participating healthcare clinics.
Eligibility Requirements:
- 40-64 Years of age
- AND Uninsured
- OR Insured but deductible applies to these exams
- OR have Medicare part A but not part B
- AND income is below: (Proof of income is not required)
- $25,525 for household of 1
- $34,225 for household of 2
- $42,925 for household of 3
- $51,625 for household of 4
- $60,325 for household of 5
- $69,025 for household of 6
- $77,725 for household of 7
- $86,425 for household of 8
- For each additional person add $8,700
