Wapsi River Environmental Education Center : Menke Observatory

The Observatory is host to many public star gazing events each year including the Eastern Iowa Star Party and is available for educational programs and will be open to the public on special occasions. The observatory houses three telescopes and a classroom. St. Ambrose University conducts astronomy classes at the facility.
