Park System Rules & Regulations
Hours:
- During summer hours (April 1 to October 31), the parks are:
- open from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm.
- closed from 10:30 pm to 6:00 am.
- unless special permission is granted.
- During winter hours (November 1 to March 31), the parks are:
- open from 7:00 am to dark.
- Park quiet hours are 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.
- Check-out time is 3:00 pm and all campers must re-register by that time if staying longer. Check-out time only at Buffalo Shores is 5:00 pm.
- Maximum camping time allowed is two weeks in a 30 day period.
- The regular fee will be charged for any camping unit left in the park overnight whether occupied or not.
- Camping is permitted only in designated areas.
Any violation of the rules can result in the denial of camping privileges. The state conservation code gives county conservation officers the right to deny camping privileges in county parks.
