Conservation Features
Buffalo Shores Park and Campgrounds are closed due to flooding conditions. With the current water level predictions we expect the Buffalo Shores Recreation area to be closed possibly until mid-May. Scott County Park and West Lake Park campgrounds are open and available as they are unaffected. [ Read Press Release ]
Due to the wet conditions this spring, Equestrian and Bike Trails at Scott County Park are closed. Please feel free to call us at 563-328-3282 ext 1 for updates.
Bringing firewood from the states of MI (Lower Peninsula), OH, IL, and IN is a violation of federal law as it may harbor Emerald Ash Borer, a major pest of Iowa's native trees.

Luxury Rental Cabins
Scott County Park adds two luxury rental cabins to the park. Each cabin will comfortably sleep six, with two bedrooms, a full bathroom, living room, fireplace, and kitchen area. The cabins feature finished interiors, decks, grading and landscaping. [Scott County Park] [Pine Grove Cabins]
