- American Red Cross Lifeguard Class
- Class is from 8:00am - Noon daily starting August 6th through August 10th at the Scott County Park pool. The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Youth 15 years of age and older are eligible for training and upon successful completion of the written and water skills test you will become a certified lifeguard.
