Chris Gallin was appointed to the Board in July 2005. She is in year 3 of her first 4 year term.
Chris serves on the Bi-State Commission, River Bend Transit Board, Iowa Work Force Board and the County Green Team. She is very proud to serve on the Board and respects the collaboration of administration and department leaders. Chris appreciates the open communication and the team approach to fiscal responsibility. The Board utilizes a professional and deliberate approach to decision making and values the opinions and input of all Scott County citizens.
Chris is a retired high school principal, wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband, Bill, teaches 5th grade at Monroe Elementary in Davenport. In their spare time, they enjoy gardening, cooking, movies, reading, travel and family.
Chris volunteers at Café on Vine, Davenport Public Library Friends Bookstore on Fairmount and St. Anthony's as a lector and Eucharistic Minister.
