Satellite Locations

Vote by mailEarly voting, sometimes called absentee voting or satellite voting, is available to every registered voter in Scott County. When casting your ballot early, you do not need to attend your polling place on Election Day. You must be a registered voter in order to participate in early voting. [ Register to vote ]

There are two ways you can vote early:

1. Early Voting by Mail (Absentee Voting)

You may vote by mail, using an absentee ballot, prior to Election Day. Voting by mail is easy – and you can start as early as 45 days prior to an eleciton. Follow the instructions below to request your absentee ballot.

2. Early Voting in Person (Satellite Voting)

Prior to the upcoming election, satellite voting locations may be available throughout Scott County. The following document lists complete information.

Prior to Election Day, when ballots are available, you may vote early at the Auditor's Office. On Election Day itself, you may only vote at your assigned polling place – you can no longer vote at the Auditor’s Office or the satellite locations. [ Voting on Election Day ]
